Jeremias Augustin,
Grabpflege Farngrün

As part of a project at FH JOANNEUM, my classmates Simon Schlager, Manuel Reischer, Annika Pluns, Lena Promitzer, and I were tasked with developing the branding for the cemetary gardener Jeremias Augustin. I was responsible for the visual branding and had the opportunity to develop a concept centred around the “Farngrün” brand. The mockups and stationery were created by Annika Pluns, and the photographs were taken by Simon Schlager.

Out of his love for ferns, Jeremias chose “Farngrün” (German translation of a fern combined with the color green). The name thus served as the starting point for the brand development. The color palette is based on the colors of a fern.

The biggest challenge of the process was to develop a timeless and modern visual concept that would appeal to the entire spectrum of the broad target audience for cemetary gardening services.
